Fines & Costs

Court Fines

If you have been ordered to pay a fine to The Family Court, you must make the payment in person at the courthouse. You can get your payment information from the court staff on the Fourth Floor of the courthouse. See the receptionist to point you in the right direction. You will then take your fine information to the Sheriff's Fine Office on the Second Floor of the courthouse. After you make the payment, bring your receipt back to the receptionist on the Fourth Floor to make sure the court gives you credit for paying the fine.

Court Costs

If you have been ordered to pay court costs, you must make the payment to the Collections Department at the Clerk of Court's Office. The Collections Department is located in Room 2401 on the Second Floor of the courthouse. You may pay your court costs to the Collections Department by cash or money order only.

Attorney Fees

If you have been ordered to pay attorney fees, you must make the payment directly to the attorney, unless the judge gives you other instructions.
